Bee and Flower Ring
This adorable ring celebrates our pollinators with a bee flying towards a flower. I made this using a die-struck process and two antique dies. The negative space created in the open design gives it a nice visual tension.
I start with silver wire and silver casting grain (or similar). The shank is made from heavy half round sterling silver wire, and the bee and flower are made with fine silver. It’s slightly adjustable (maybe one quarter size up or down).
